유니온페이 인터내셔널, 중국 CPG 통해 해외 결제 연동 체제 강화
[ 메디채널 황정호 기자 ] 상하이 2025년 9월 30일 -- 9월 16일에 중국의 CPG(Cross-border Interconnection Gateway)가 7월 말 공식적으로 시범 운영에 돌입했다. 유니온페이 인터내셔널(UnionPay International)은 6개월간 CPG의 핵심 요소를 개발하는 데 이바지했다. CPG는 대중의 포괄성과 접근성에 중점을 두고 설계됐으며, CPG를 이용하는 중국 본토와 해외의 금융 기관은 해외에서도 단일 접속점을 통해 QR 코드 결제 방식을 지원할 수 있다. CPG는 통합 기술 인터페이스, 해외 거래 정보 전달, 그리고 실시간 거래 모니터링 및 분석 같은 서비스를 제공하므로 CPG에 가입한 업체가 전 세계 사용자에게 더 효율적이고 편리하며 안전한 해외 QR 코드 결제 방식을 지원할 수 있다. 시범 운영되는 CPG은 중국 협력사뿐 아니라 해외 협력사도 쉽게 이용할 수 있다. 중국 본토의 금융 기관은 유니온페이의 표준화된 인터페이스를 사용하여 곧장 통합을 완료할 수 있으며, 해외 협력사는 유니온페이 인터내셔널을 통해 CPG에 접속할 수 있다. 이러한 방식은 중국 본토와 전 세계 다른 국가 간 해외 Q
