중국-인도네시아, QR 결제 연동 시범 서비스 시작

[ 메디채널 황정호 기자 ] 베이징 2025년 9월 15일 -- 유니온페이 인터내셔널(UnionPay International•UPI)이 11일 파트너사들과 협력해 중국과 인도네시아 간 QR 결제 연동 서비스를 출시한다고 발표했다. 이번 시범 서비스는 양국 중앙은행의 지도하에 추진됐다. 베이징에서 열린 출시 행사에서는 인도네시아 모바일 결제 앱을 활용한 시범 거래가 시연됐다. 자카르타에서는 사전 승인을 받은 사용자들이 인도네시아의 통합 QR 결제 시스템인 QRIS를 스캔해 유니온페이 앱과 알리페이(Alipay) 앱으로 거래를 성공적으로 끝마쳤다. 이 샌드박스(시범 운영) 단계 동안 중국 본토에서 선정된 사용자들은 두 가지 중국 모바일 결제 앱을 통해 인도네시아 내 4000만 개 이상의 QRIS 가맹점에서 QR 결제를 이용할 수 있다. 동시에 중국 본토의 유니온페이 및 알리페이 네트워크 시범 가맹점들도 인도네시아의 22개 주요 모바일 결제 앱으로 QR 결제를 받을 수 있다. 샌드박스 단계에서는 현재 사전 승인을 받은 참여자와 가맹점으로만 이용이 제한된다는 점을 유의해야 한다. 샌드박스 단계가 끝나면 2025년 이내에 국경 간 QR
