[ 메디채널 김장윤(JASON KIM) 기자 ] 베이징 2025년 8월 29일 -- 중국인민항일전쟁과 세계 반파시스트 전쟁(제2차 세계대전) 승리 80주년을 기념하여 다큐멘터리 시리즈 '잊힌 동맹(Unsung Ally)'이 9월 9일 CGTN과 여러 소셜 미디어 플랫폼을 통해 첫 방송된다. 각 에피소드는 일본 침략에 맞선 중국 인민의 확고한 저항이 지닌 역사적 의미와 유산을 새로운 시각으로 조명한다. 80년 전 제2차 세계대전이 끝났을 때, 이는 선이 악을 이긴 승리로 기념됐다. 하지만 서방 관점의 역사 서술은 위대한 희생으로 이 역사적 승리를 확보하는 데 이바지한 동맹국, 즉 중국의 중요한 기여를 일관되게 축소해 왔다.
